Cambodia presents friendship order to Vietnamese diplomats and pressmen

The Ministry of Information of Cambodia has presented the Order of Cooperation and Friendship to 12 Vietnamese diplomats and press correspondents in recognition of their sound cooperation with the ministry and other relevant Cambodian agencies during their working terms in the host country.

– The Ministry of Information of Cambodia has presented the Order ofCooperation and Friendship to 12 Vietnamese diplomats and press correspondents inrecognition of their sound cooperation with the ministry and other relevantCambodian agencies during their working terms in the host country.

The presentation ceremony held in Phnom Penh on January 2 was attended byMinister of Information Khieu Kanharith; Charge d’ affaires of the Embassy ofVietnam in Cambodia Nguyen Trac Toan; and representatives from relevantministries and sectors of Cambodia.

Orders of Thephaden (firstclass) were presented to former Ambassador of Vietnam to Cambodia Thach Du;Counsellor of the Embassy of Vietnam in Cambodia Trinh Ba Cam; Chief of theVietnam News Agency (VNA) Representative Office in Cambodia reporter Tran ChiHung; Chief of the Vietnam Television (VTV) Representative Office reporterThach Thong; and ex-Director of the Binh Phuoc Television Station reporter PhanMinh Hoang.

Orders of Asarith (thirdclass) were awarded to seven correspondents of VNA, VTV, the Voice of Vietnam,and Nhan Dan (People) newspaper posted in Cambodia.

Minister KhieuKanharith affirmed that by accomplishing their tasks in Cambodia, theVietnamese officials have contributed to propelling the close-knitneighborliness, traditional friendship and long-lasting cooperation between thetwo countries.

Former ambassador toCambodia Thach Du said in any posts in the future he will spare no effort topreserve and foster the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam andCambodia.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
