On April 9, a list of the nine members of the new NEC was approved by the country’s National Assembly.
Sik Bun Hok, a former member of theCambodian People’s Party (CPP), was appointed NEC Chairman and Kuoy BunRoen, a former member of Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP), wasselected as the Vice Chairman.
