The event attracted 32 restaurants, hotels and eateries in fiveCentral Highlands provinces, encouraging the use of coffee as an ingredient.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee H’Yim Kdoh said the contest will enable artisansto introduce traditional food to visitors, thus enriching Vietnam’s cuisineculture.
From March 9 – 16, local food will be available at thetourist area from 8am – 6pm.
On March 9 – 10, the Taego Zen Buddhism executive board fromthe Republic of Korea’s Jeollabuk province offered Korean typical stir-friedrice cake tteokbokki to 6,000 visitors for free.
The organising board presented one first, two second, threethird and 10 consolation prizes to contestants.
