Hanoi (VNA) – 🗹The essence of the traditional culture of eth𒐪nic minorities in the Central Highlands was showcased at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi on February 13.
The programme, jointly organised by the Museum and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province draw crowds of visitors and local residents.
Visitors were lured by traditional practices, songs, dances, and folk games of the ethnic minority groups of Xo Dang, Brau, Si La, Ede, H’mong and Ba Na, performed by Kon Tum artisans.
During the event, visitors had opportunities to exchange with experts on these ethnic minorities, played traditional music instruments, joined folk games and art performances, and enjoyed the ethnics’ signature food.-VNA

Students from schools in Hanoi will learn about the traditional new year customs and rituals during a programme called Discovering Tet held on January 28 at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
