Central rate drops 15 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on February 5 announced the central rate for the Vietnam dong against the US dollar at 21,861 VND per USD, a drop of 15 VND compared to February 4.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietn♚am (SBV) on February 5 announced the central rate for the Vietnam dong against the US dollar at 21,861 VND per🐬 USD, a drop of 15 VND compared to February 4. 

Today’s rate has dropped a total of 29 VND to the lowest level since its first application on January 4. 

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is 22,516 VND per USD and the floor rate is 21,205 VND per USD. 

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) posted the buying and selling rates at 22,270/22,360 VND per USD, up 10 VND in the buying rate and 30 VND in the selling rate from the day before. 

The Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) raised the buying rate by 60 VND and the selling rate by 50 VND, posting the exchange rate at 22,290 VND/22,370 VND (buying/selling) per USD. 

Meanwhile, the rates applied b🐈y the Viet༺nam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) were unchanged, at 22,180 VND/22,330 VND per USD (buying/selling).-VNA
