Charity concert gathers award-winning pop stars

Award-winning singers will perform at a charity concert on October 18 to raise money for needy children in the northern province of Hoa Binh.
Award-winning singers will perform at a charity concert on October 18 toraise money for needy children in the northern province of HoaBinh.

The artists include Tan Nhan, Tuan Anh, Thuy Mien, MinhNgoc and Trung Quan, who have won singing contests such as Sao Mai(Morning Star), Vietnam's Got Talent and Vietnam Idol.

The concert, I Have a Dream, will be held at the National Academy of Music, 77 Hao Nam Street, Hanoi.

Funds raised will go toward scholarships and bicycles for students inDu Sang commune, Kim Boi district, Hoa Binh province. Many of them livefar from school.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
