Chemical group makes debut in Hanoi

Addressing a ceremony, where Vinachem made its debut in Hanoi on Jan.20, Deputy PM Trong requested it, the 10 th State-owned economic group,to review its development strategy and attract chemical productionbusinesses’ participation in the group.

Vinachem should play a key role in fertiliser and chemicals productionand business and it should pay attention to human resource training, hesaid, adding that the group should give advice to the State indevelopment policies and strategies.

He took the occasion to highlight Vinachem’s contributions to ensuring the nation’s food security.

Vinachem Chairman Nguyen Quoc Tuan confirmed the group’s pledge todevelop the petrochemical and pharmaceutical chemistry industry byefficiently using natural resources to serve the national economy.

Vinachem, which was reorganised from the Vietnam Chemical Corporation,now operates as a holding company with 28 affiliates and 16 joinventure companies.

With a charter capital of 8 trillion VND, Vinachem specialises inmanufacturing fertiliser and pesticide, chemical, petrochemical andpharmaceutical chemistry industry, mining and rubber processingindustry and financing./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
