General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on August 11 cabled a message of congratulations to the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and its President Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the successful election of the sixth National Assembly and the victory of the CPP in the election.

– General Secretary of the CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong on August 11 cabled amessage of congratulations to the Central Committee of the Cambodian People’sParty (CPP) and its President Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the successful electionof the sixth National Assembly and the victory of the CPP in the election.

In the message, he wrote that the CPV Central Committee isdelighted at the successful organisation of the sixth NA election that tookplace on July 29 in Cambodia, ensuring democracy, freedom, fairness, securityand safety.

Trong expressed belief that with the support of theCambodian people, the new Cambodian legislature and government will be set upsoon to continue leading the Cambodian people overcome difficulties andchallenges, successfully building Cambodia of peace, independence, neutralism,democracy, social progress and friendship with countries worldwide, especiallyneighbouring and regional countries.-VNA
