Cows donated to Quang Tri’s poor people

As many as 20 cows worth over 20 million VND (940 USD) each, were presented to low-income households in Trieu Phong district, the central province of Quang Tri on November 4, as gifts from President Truong Tan Sang.

The cows, funded by the Vietnam Development Bank, aim tohelp poor households improve their living standards, thus contributingto the locality’s economic development and poverty reduction.

In recent years, many charity projects to provide cows for needypeople have been launched and received warm response , benefitinga great number of poor people throughout the country.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
