Dung urged for greater tourism promotion to further increase the number of visitors, paving the way for the launch of direct flights between Da Nang and the European cities. The city is fostering the development of trade, services and software industry, he added, noting that it needs the help from Vietnamese firms in Germany to bring seafood products to the country and the Europe.
During the workshop, Da Nang authorities received many inquiries from participating businesses regarding the city’s policies on tourism and infrastructure development. They also proposed ways to help Da Nang lure more international travellers and bring the city closer to the world.
