Dak Nong (VNA) ♑–Construction on a concrete bridge started on May 30 to replace the old wooden bridgein Bon Jang Plei 2, Truong Xuan commune, Dak Song district in the Central Highlandsprovince of Dak Nong.

It is one of eight bridges thatneed replaced in the district. The 2.1 billion VND (92,442 USD)bridge is part of a project to replace 59 temporary bridges in Dak Nongprovince approved by Ministry of Transport in 2016 with loans from the WorldBank. The new bridge, which is 22 metreslong and 3.5 metres wide, is expected to be completed in June 2017. New bridges in Dak Nong areexpected to help people in remote and ethnicminority-inhabited areas more easily commute and carry out dailyactivities.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
