At the reception, Deputy PMNguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also head of the Vietnam-Laos CooperationSub-committee, said that the effective collaboration between KPL and theVietnam News Agency (VNA) has greatly contributed to the development ofthe traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensivecooperation between the two countries.

He proposed thatthe two news agencies further promote bilateral cooperation andtogether improve the quality of all forms of news, adding that hissub-committee will create all possible conditions for them to improvethe capacity of their staff.

For his part, SounthoneKhanthavong praised the joint efforts of VNA and KPL in implementingagreements and protocols signed by the two countries, in a bid toenhance the effectiveness of information work.

He alsoexpressed his hope to receive more cooperation and support from theVietnamese side in information exchange, human resources training andtechnology.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
