Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Prime Mini🔥ster Hoang Trung Hai has been named Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Com༺mittee for the 2015-2020 tenure.

During a ceremony to announce the Politburo’s decision in Hanoi on February 5, permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Dinh The Huynh gave praise to former Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi, who he said, has set a good example and been constructive and dedicated to the development of the country and the capital city in particular during his term of office.
The Politburo believes that the new Hanoi Party leader will make the most of his capability and experience to successfully fulfill key tasks and realise the resolution set by the recently-closed 12th National Party Congress. On the occasion, Nghi also confidently said that Hai will successfully accomplish assigned mission in his new position.
Hai, 57, is native to Quynh Phu district in the northern province of Thai Binh. He undertook the post of Politburo member for the 12th tenure, and has been a member of the Party Central Committee for the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th tenure. Before serving as Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party’s Committee, he was Deputy Prime Minister and National Assembly deputy for the 8th, 11th and 13th tenure.-VNA
