The event drew hundreds of students and local residents besides representatives from the local government.
First Secretary of the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico Dao Van Dung thanked the municipal authorities, especially the Department of Cultural Affairs, for their help in bringing information on Vietnam and its people and culture to Mexican audiences.
He said he hopes the event will help Mexican people, especially youngsters, to understand better about Vietnam’s cause of construction and defence.
Marco Rascon Cordova, a representative from the Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, said the lessons of patriotism, courage and sacrifice of the Vietnamese people remain valuable and helpful for Mexico and many other countries in the world.
