Hanoi (VNA) – A delegation of theEvangelical Church of Vietnam (North) (ECVN North) visited the Party CentralCommittee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation in Hanoi on February 8 ahead ofthe Lunar New Year festival (Tet).

Chairwoman of the commission Truong Thi Mai saidher commission highly values its relations with the ECVN North. She alsocongratulated the Church on developing six more organisations in northern ThaiNguyen and Yen Bai provinces.

Mai also appreciated the ECVN North executiveboard and Pastor Nguyen Huu Mac, head of the ECVN North, for encouragingProtestant followers and dignitaries to take part in patriotic emulationmovements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-politicalorganisations.

The Party official called for the Church’scontinuation of support and cooperation in the mass mobilization work.

Pastor Nguyen Huu Mac said the ECVN Northrecorded many successful activities in 2017, thanks to the great assistancefrom the Mass Mobilisation Commission and relevant agencies, thereby enhancingProtestant followers’ trust in the Party’s policies and the State’s law.

He offered Tet greetings to the commission andwished them many successes in 2018.-VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
