An exhibition on Cham towers in the central region of Vietnam opened in the central province of Quang Nam on June 9, as part of the ongoing Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017.

QuangNam (VNA) – An💖 exhibition on Cham towers in the centr𒐪al region ofVietnam opened in the central province of Quang Nam on June 9, as part of theongoing Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017.

The eventaims to introduce artistic, historical and cultural values of Cham towers in MySon complex and in other localities of Vietnam’s central region, including BinhDinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

Manyvaluable documents and items are also on display.

All the exhibitꦚs are arranged according to the map of Vietnam’s central regꦜion,helping visitors identify the locations of Cham towers in the country. It alsorepresented the theme of the sixth Quang Nam Heritage Festival – “Quang Nam - ConnectingCultural Heritages”.

Phan Ho, head of the My Son world cultural heritage site management board, stressed that eachCham tower holds its own value, contributing to the rich Champa culture.

Vietnam༒ re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmentไal Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
