Exhibition on supporting industries to open

Ho Chi Minh City’s Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (IPTC) signed a contract with Japan External Trade Relationship Organisation (JETRO) and Thailand’s Reed Tradex Company on June 10 on the organisation of two major industrial exhibitions.

Under the contract,the fourth International Supporting Industry Exhibition and theInternational Machine Tools and Metalworking Technology Exhibition(METALEX Vietnam 2010) will take place in HCM City from October 7-9.

At the supporting industry exhibition, over 100 Japaneseand Vietnamese businesses will display components of automobiles,motorbikes, machine tools, products of metal and plastics and otheraccessories, Deputy Director of ITPC Nguyen Anh Ngoc said upon signingthe contract.

The METALEX Vietnam 2010 will gatherlatest inventions from 25 countries and territories. Seminars on newtechnologies and manufacturing will also be held.

JETROExecutive Director in HCM City Yoshida Sakae affirmed that Vietnam isone of the potential markets for Japanese businesses, adding that thisevent is a chance for businesses of the two countries to shareexperiences and expand their business networks.

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels. Infraction levels will correspond to fines of 1 million VND to 80 million VND, depending on the nature and number of invoicing violations.
