Thanh Hoa (VNA) – More than 10,000 photos, documents and objects are ondisplay at the “Thanh Hoa - Past and Present” exhibition, which was opened onMay 5 as one activity to mark the 990th anniversary of theprovince’s naming.

The exhibition turned the spotlight on the north centralprovince’s development through four periods, from the prehistoric andprotohistoric periods, semi-feudal colonial time, to the struggle for nationalliberation, and reform periods.

Visitors to the exhibition will get a deeper insight into Thanh Hoa land andpeople during the national construction and protection cause, as well as thelocality’s achievements in all sectors nowadays.

The exhibition will run until May 9.

Thanh Hoa is a relatively big province,which ranks the fifth in area and third in population among 63 centrally-runcities and provinces in Vietnam. -VNA

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
