Hanoi (VNA) – As Vietnam is💮 preparing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2), the Ministry oꦐf Culture, Sports and Tourism is planning a major exhibition to showcase the achievements and development trends of 12 cultural industries.

The exhibition, scheduled to run from August 28 to September 5 in Hanoi, will form part of the broader expo of Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements. Designed as a “cultural flow”, the event will guide visitors from Vietnam’s traditions to 12 modern cultural industries. It will use smart lighting technology and be constructed with eco-friendly, reusable materials to explore sectors like film, performing arts, gaming, television and radio broadcasting. The design will draw on a vivid colour palette inspired by Vietnam’s cultural landscapes, iconic landmarks, cinematic works, architecture, and visual arts.
Its goal is to do more than celebrate arts, it is to frame these cultural industries as a crucial component of Vietnam’s economic strategy.
The exhibition is also intended as a networking event, bringing together government officials, businesses, and artists to promote Vietnamese brands both at home and abroad. A clear message will be the importance of protecting copyright and related rights, which are essential for the continued growth of creative economy. The event will also honour the contributions of artists, businesses and the public while underscoring their roles in shaping a modern Vietnamese identity./.
