Expo showcases Korean cultural products in HCM City

HCM City (VNA) – More than 100businesses from the Republic of Korea and other nations are displaying theirproducts at the Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE) that began in HoChi Minh City on November 8.

The event, part of activities to celebrate the25th founding anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic ties (December22), is hosted by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

Several Vietnam-RoK trade promotion eventswill take place during the three-day event. Visitors  will have a chance to see modern cosmeticproducts and other household products.

Other activities promoting cultural, economic,education exchanges will be held, including a workshop on RoK-Vietnam educationtechnology, a job fair, and art performances.

Addressing the opening ceremony, KOTRAChairman and CEO Kim Jae Hong said the RoK is the second largest trade partnerof Vietnam and the biggest foreign investor in the country, adding that culturalexchanges have enhanced mutual understanding between the two nations.

RoK enterprises want to seek Vietnamesepartners during the exhibition, he said, expressing hope that the event helpfirms explore the ASEAN market.

The KBEE started in Thailand in 2010 and hasbeen held in nations across the world, including France, the UK, Japan, andChina.-VNA

Under a draft to amend and supplement the Government's Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on administrative sanctions for violations of tax and invoice regulations, the Ministry of Finance has proposed classifying the failure to issue invoices into five different levels.
