Brussels (VNA) – Afootball tournament of the General Unionജ of Vietnamese in Brussels (UGVB) tookplace on Au🧔gust 13 with the participation of six teams.

Xay Dung FC won the cup whileFC Bao Ngoc Quang Binh and Choa FC came second and third, respectively.

Speaking at the awardingceremony, Vu T🍬hu Thuy, Deputy Ambassador of Vietnam to Belgium, spoke highly ofthe UGVB’s efforts in organising the tournament.

Thuy said she expects thecommunity will continue to promote similar activities to strengthen solidaritywith the country and celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relationsbetween Vietnam and Belgium.

 For his part, Huynh Cong My, UGVB’spresident, expressed his hope that from next year, the football tournament willb🐭ecome an annual event to enrich the activities of the Vietnamese community./.
