The event was organised by theMinistry of National Defence to mark the 67 th anniversary of theVietnam ’s People Army, which falls on Dec. 22, and boost exchangesbetween Vietnamese and foreign military officers.

Colonel Didier Oustric, French Military Attaché and head of the foreignmilitary attaché delegation, thanked the Ministry of National Defencefor its initiative to host the contest.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
