Quang Ninh (VNA) –Foxconn Vietnam is planning to open a television screen component factory inthe northeastern province of Quang Ninh with a labour demand of 3,000 workers.
Foxconn Vietnam GeneralDirector Harry Zhuo recently had a working session with Vice Chairman of theprovincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thang to seek investment opportunitiesin the province.
The factory is planned tocover an area of 10 hectares in the Dong Mai Industrial Park in Quang Yentownship with total investment of 40 million USD in the first phase.
Thang affirmed that theprovince will accompany and facilitate the group in implementing investmentregistration procedures in the shortest time.
At the same time, Quang Ninhwill create favourable conditions for Foxconn Vietnam to invest in the projectand recruit workers during the process of doing business and production.
Harry Zhuo said thanks toits achievements in economic development and modern transport infrastructure, QuangNinh has attracted many major economic groups and this was also a bigopportunity for Foxconn Vietnam to invest in the province.-VNA
