Advanced International JSC (AIC) has launched a free application named “9999 Tet,” helping users, especially visually-impaired people, access information about the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.

Hanoi (VNA) – AdvancedInternational JSC (AIC) has launched a free application named “9999 Tet,”helping users, especially visually-impaired people, access information about theTet (Lunar New Year) festival.

Since its launch in late January, “9999 Tet” has attracted nearly 1 millionactive users and been among the most favoured applications.

Dinh Viet Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Blind Association, highlightedsocial and humanitarian values of the application, and expressed her wish thatit will be perfected, thus creating better access for visually-impaired people.

Nguyen Van Truong, a blind man in the northern midland province of Phu Tho,said the application has enabled people with visual impairment to study andexplore the world.

The application provides users with a list of destinations, festivals andrituals in Vietnam during the first lunar month.

Established in 1999, AIC currently is operating successfullyin areas such as smart nation, science and technology, firefighting andemergency response, intelligent transport system, vocational training, smarteducation, smart healthcare, natural resources and environment. -VNA
