Free wifi to be available in Nha Trang throughout July

The free service will beprovided by the Khanh Hoa branch of the Vietnam Post andTelecommunication Group (VNPT) from July 1-31.

With28 stations, wifi will be accessible along more than 3 kilometres of thebeach from Nha Trang Airport to the Lao Dong Cultural House.

The Nha Trang Sea Festival, held from July 11-14, will feature dozensof culture, sports and tourism activities such as an exhibition onmarine cultural heritage; a document display on the Hoang Sa (Paracel)and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos; the semi-final round of the MissUniverse Vietnam; and salangane nest, wine and embroidery festivals.

Other highlights will include a streetfestival, a music programme on seas and islands and performances byforeign arts troupes.

As one of the largestevents in the city, the biennial seventh festival is part of efforts topreserve and promote sea-related cultural values. It is expected toattract more than 100,000 visitors.

Known for beautiful Nha Trang Bay and a mild climate, Nha Trang city is the main tourist destination in Khanh Hoa.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
