Three Russian universities have been awarded Vietnam’s Friendship Order in recognition of their contributions to the Southeast Asian nation’s education and training.
Moscow (VNA) – Three Russian universities have been awarded Vietnam’sFriendship Order in recognition of their contributions to the Southeast Asiannation’s education and training.
The recipients are the national research nuclear university - MIPhI, the instituteof public administration and civil service - RANEPA, and the Moscow foreignlanguage university - MIIA.
Addressing the ceremony to hand over the decoration to representatives of thethree educational institutions in Moscow on November 28, Vietnamese Ambassadorto Russia Ngo Duc Manh highly valued contributionsmade by Russian educational institutions in general and the three universitiesin particular to Vietnam’s personnel training.
Vietnamhopes to receive more support from Russian universities in the coming time inthe field, he said, pledging to do his utmost to further promote thecomprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, including thefield of education and training.
ProfessorVladimir May, director of RANEPA, stressed that the signing of cooperation documentsbetween the university with Vietnamese partners such as the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Hanoi LawUniversity will significantly contribute to strengthening the bilateralrelations.
MIPhIbegan providing training programmes for Vietnamese students from 2010. In the2017-2018 academic year, 62 Vietnamese students graduated from the university,and 243 Vietnamese students are currently studying at the school.
Meanwhile, many generations of Vietnamese students have studied in the RANEPAsince 1960s.
