Gia Lai (VNA) – The Gia Lai Week of Culture,Cuisine and Horserace 2017 opened at the Trade Exhibition Ce💃ntre in Pl𝕴eiku city,the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai on March 22.

​Visitors to the event, the first of its kind, will have achance to enjoy specialties from three regions of the country and the Central Highlandsprovinces. 
One of the highlights of the week is an open horserace with theparticipation of 48 racers from six localities, namely Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan,Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City and the host Gia Lai.
Musical performances and fire camps will also be held,helping visitors immerse themselves into the cultural life of local ethnicgroups. The event, which runs through March 27, aims to promoteunique culture and history of the Central Highlands region to Vietnamese andforeigners.-VNA
