Banh Tet isa kind of cake made of glutinous rice, green bean and pork and rolledin a banana leaf into a thick, log-like cylindrical shape.
Twentychefs completed wrapping the cake weighing 860kg on February 1, andmore than 100 hotel staff carried it to the Nha Trang beach for cooking.
The following day the cake was cut into small pieces to curious visitors and local people.
The proceeds will be donated to charity.
This is the longest ever Banh Tet cooked by the hotel’s chefs and staff.
Last year the hotel cooked a 38-m-long Tet cake.-VNA
