The statue of Lady Buddha is built at Linh Ung Pagoda, located halfway up Son Tra mountain. The statue is enormous at 65 meters (equivalent to a 30-storey building), with a lotus court diameter of 35 meters.
It took 6 years to complete the construction of this gigantic statue. The statue stands with its back to the mountain, facing the sea, the left hand is in sacred mudra, the other holds a jar containing pure water. She is the protector for all the fishermen floating on the sea, trying to make ends meet for their families. Every day there are a lot of tourists, Buddhists in Vietnam and from all over the world coming to Linh Ung pagoda to offer incense in worship of Buddha, as well as to visit and enjoy the striking scenery and peaceful atmosphere here./.

But the year 2024 marked a turning point.

In the context of international integration and globalisation, culture and art education plays a vital role in promoting the all-round development of Vietnam's young generation.
