Green rice season draws visitors to Lao Cai
From late July to early August each year, when summer sunlight bathes the mountains and forests of Lao Cai, the terraced fields of Ta Van Commune take on a fresh green hue. The rice stretches across the hillsides, flows down into the valleys and surrounds the villages, captivating visitors with its tranquil atmosphere, peaceful scenery and vibrant nature — heralding a bountiful harvest ahead.
