Ha Long Trade-Tourism Fair gets underway

More than 350 businesses and economic organisations are showcasing their best products at a trade-tourism fair, which began on April 25 in Ha Long city, the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh.

Displayed at the over 400 booths are many products that Vietnam hasstrength in such as garments, farm produce, processed food andhandicrafts along with household utensils and high-tech equipment.

At the event, the business circle also offers visitors a variety oftourism products like tours, convalescent and entertainment services, aswell as shopping and food destinations.

Vu VanCuc, an official of the Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade,said that products from each locality are exhibited in a specific areato highlight the theme of “One Village – One Product”.

The event, part of the 2014 Ha Long-Quang Ninh Tourism Week, will run until May 2.-VNA
