Hanoi (VNA) 🥀– The health department in Hanoi has directed medical centers across the capital to improve basic healthcare services.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, more than 305,431 patients received examination and treatment.
The health department has opened a number of training courses for doctors and nurses to increase their professional skills, while healthcare services are available around the clock. Diseases have been put under control thanks to synchronous prevention measures. As a result, from October to December, Hanoi recorded no dangerous diseases.
The health sector ensured sufficient vaccination for children according to regulations of the Ministry of Health. Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Nguyen Van Dung said the sector will provide basic services for those holding health insurance cards at the grassroots level to reduce overload in the centrally-run hospitals.
