Hanoi exhibition spotlights Seoul’s four-decade urbanisation

A photo exhibition featuring the four-decade process of Seoul, the capital city of the Republic of Korea (RoK), to become a megacity as present is underway in Hanoi.

Hanoi (VNA) – A photo exhibition featuring the four-decade process of Seoul,the capital city of the Republic of Korea (RoK), to become a megacity aspresent is underway in Hanoi.

Jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam and the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, theexhibition aims to introduce the RoK photography.

On display are 62 works showing diverse and unique perspectives of manygenerations of photographers on conflicts between tradition and modernity, whichled to the destruction and building of Seoul city.

The event is running from October 1-12 at the Temple of Literature.

A similar exhibition is taking place at the Korean CulturalCentre in Hanoi from October 1- 30./.

Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Inter꧙governmental Committee

This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee.
