The eventbrings together 200 Vietnamese enterprises operating in garment andtextile products, footwear and jewellery, and beauty-care services.

With more than 400 stalls on an area of 7,000 square metres, the fairoffers visitors a chance to select items of leading domestic brandsincluding Nha Be, Duc Giang, May 10, Viettien, Hanosimex, Hoa Tho, andTNG.

The fair, co-organised by the Vietnam Expo Centrein coordination with the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group (Vinatex),the Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), andVietnam Gold Business Association, is a joint effort to promote thecountry’s fashion industry and respond to the campaign “Vietnamese useVietnamese goods”, said the organising board.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
