Hanoi launches largest series of technology, innovation events for youngsters

The “Hack Future and Hackathon 2023”, the largest ever series of technology and innovation events for youngsters, was kicked off on July 20 by the Hanoi Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCM CYU) and the Hanoi Students' Association.

Hanoi (VNA)💖- The “Hack Future and Hackathon 2023”, the largest ever series of technology and innovation events for youngsters, was kicked off on July 20 by the Hanoi Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCM CYU) and the Hanoi Students' Association.

The programme runs from July until October, consisting of two big innovation contests and a series of seminars on coding. The events are expected to gather 15,000 contestants and more than 200 guests representing leading businesses and organisations in the field.

🥂 The programme aims to create an international playground for Vietnamese youngsters, open up opportunities for young people to learn, integrate and contribute to the country and the national innovation ecosystem by creating valuable initiatives and technological solutions of high applicability, while seeking and nurturing high quality technological human resources for national development.

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi HCM CYU Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi Students' Association Nguyen Tien Hung said that with rich and diverse contents, the events are promised to stimulate intelligence and creativity of Vietnamese students at home and abroad. Main events in the programme include the Junction Vietnam Hackathon 2023 contest; Demo Day 2023 – a startup competition for students; and a series of seminar entitled "Coding as a language." The champion team of the junction hackathon contest will join the international junction hackathon in Finland in November./.
