Hanoi proposes service, tourism cooperation with Kagoshima

Ngoc said that Hanoi isprioritising services and tourism, and it has strength in agriculturalproduction. Meanwhile, one of Japan ’s advantages is maritimeservices.
Basing on such facts, she suggested the two cities consider cooperation in these spheres.
In response, Mayor Hiroyuki Mori described Hanoi as an active andpotential city, and stressed that Kagoshima will facilitate itsbusiness circle’s access to Hanoi ’s market.
According to the municipal People’s Committee, there are 478 Japaneseprojects across Hanoi with a total capital of some 4.5 billion USD,72.8 percent of which are poured into manufacturing automobiles andmotorcycles, electronic and mechanical products, and building materials.
From now to 2020, the capital plans to step upattraction of foreign investment, especially those from Japan , intohigh technology.-VNA
