Hanoi reports 15 new COVID-19 cases, mostly in quarantine areas

Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi confirmed 15 new COVID-19 infectionsat noon on September 13, including 14 patients found in quarantine sites, andone in an old pandemic hotbed.
 
Thanh Xuan district still recorded the highest number, with six cases, followedby Dan Phuong, Hai Ba Trung and Thanh Tri with two cases each. Hoang Mai, UngHoa and Thuong Tin districts found one case each.
 
In the past 18 hours to 12pm on September 13, the capital city detected 37COVID-19 infections, 32 of whom was found in quarantine areas, four inlocked-down areas and one in an old pandemic hotbed.
 
Since April 29 when the fourth wave of the pandemic hit the city, Hanoi hasreported 3,817 cases, including 1,595 cases in the community.

In the morning of September 13, the city injected nearly 130,000 COVID-19vaccine doses to local residents, raising the total number of administratedvaccine doses to over 4.61 million. More than 388,300 people in the city havereceived full two shots./.
