Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi plans to build a 500 million USDmultifunctional entertainment complex with a horse racing course in Soc Sondistrict.
The city’s draft report on adjustments of the city’s master plan forsocio-economic development towards 2020 with a vision to 2030, which has beensent to ministries and sectors to gather their opinions, included the proposalto build the complex.
The horse racing track is expected to boost local tourism.
Once operational, the project is expected to create considerable regularincome for the city’s budget, while creating about 5,000 direct jobs.
The project’s support activities are expected to draw other20,000-25,000 labourers.-VNA
