Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi wants to receive Italy’s assistance in culture, heritage preservation and tourism development, stated Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, Permanent Vice Secretary of the Hanoi Party Co🌃mmittee, at her reception for Italian Ambassador to Vietnam Cecilia Piccioni on July 21.

Hang shared with the guest that Hanoi boasts a lot of cultural heritage, including internationally-recognised ones. Therefore, the city plans to promote the heritage’s values as a tourist draw. She expressed her delight at strong cooperation between Hanoi and Rome as well as between Vietnam and Italy, hoping that the relations will be consolidated in the time ahead. The Italian diplomat, in turn, noted her hope that the relations between the two capital cities and the two countries will be lifted to a new height.-VNA
