Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi’s Thanh Xuan Junior High School has beenrecognised as a registered Cambridge school by the UK’s Cambridge AssessmentInternational Education (CAIE), the school announced at a ceremony on October28.

The school is among seven junior high schools in Hanoi selected by themunicipal Department of Education and Training for a pilot dual degreeprogramme that offers students a Vietnamese junior high school graduationdiploma and Cambridge’s International General Certificate of SecondaryEducation (IGCSE).

It was recognised as one of more than 10,000 Cambridge schoolsworldwide, with the code VN252, on October 16. It is the first public school inHanoi to join the network./.

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
