– The 2019 Hardware & Handtools Expo will take place fromDecember 4-7 in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together 300 businesses from 18countries and territories worldwide, according to organisers.

The event will gather suppliers from a wide range of spheres like manufacturing,production, mechanics, construction and DIY devices, a representative of theVietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinesad) said.   

Themed “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and global supply chain,” the expo, inits fourth edition, aims to improve the quality of connectivity in varioussectors.

It is expected to draw the attention of prestigious international brands to thebig domestic market, thus attracting more investments and promoting technologicaltransfer and cooperation in building the global supply chain.

Through the event, the organisers also hope to promote local brands, boostexports and stimulate the consumption of domestic products.

Frank Yang, development director for the Asia-Pacific region of WERA – Germanmanufacturer of screwdriving tools, said Vietnam isa potential market.

Therefore, the exhibition provides a venue for his firm to accessboth local and foreign manufacturers in the machinery and tool sectors. /.
