HCM City launches new five-star bus route to int’l aiport

A five-star bus route between Tan Son Nhat International Airport and District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City was put into operation from May 19.

HCM City (VNA)ꦏ – A five-star bus route between Tan Son Nhat International Airport and District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City was put into operation from May 19.

The route numbered 49 operates from 0:00 am to 11:45 pm, making 43 trips every day. The buses will depart every 30 minutes on the 17km route, taking some 85 minutes to cover the distance.
The fare is 40,000 VND (1.8 USD) per passenger one way.
This is the second five-star bus route after the route 109 travelling between September 23 Park and Tan Son Nhat airport was commissioned on March 16, 2016. The routess operated by the Southern Airport Transportation JSC, are expected to meet rapidly increasing demand of both locals and tourists for economical and efficient public transportation.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
