Ho Chi Minh City’s police have warned that players of Pokemon Go - an augmented reality game – would highly become victims of robbers once they are focusing on capturing Pokemon in public areas.

HCM City (VNA)🦩 – Ho Chi Minh City’s police have warned that players of Pokemon Go - a location-based augmented reality game – would highly become victims of robbers once they are focusing on capturing Pokemon in public areas.

On the night of August 8, in the city, a woman had her mobile phone snatched while roaming in Tao Dan park to catch Pokemon.
The robber was then arrested by a guard at the park and handed over to the District 1 Police for investigation.
The Pokemon Go was officially launched in Vietnam on August 6. The application, developed by Niantic Incorporation of Nintendo USA, was well-received extraordinarily when over 75 million people downloaded the game worldwide.-VNA
