HCM City university journal listed in Australian Business Deans Council

HCM City (VNS/VNA) - The Journal of Asia Business and Economic Studiespublished by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City has been included inthe list of Australian Business Deans Council.

It is Vietnam’s first economics and business journal to be included, theuniversity said in a press release.

The English version of the journal has been included in the list last month.

It marks another step forward for JABES’s collective and associates inparticular for their constant investment and efforts to internationalise andimprove its academic reputation in the community and world-wide and opening upopportunities for Australian and New Zealand scholars to publish their researchfindings in it.

The journal has four English issues a year and 12 Vietnamese issues.

Research articles submitted to both editions are peer-reviewed under an onlineprocess following international practices.

JABES was added to the ESCI list of the Web of Science in 2021 and the ScopusIndex, Elsevier Publishing House (Netherlands)’s database of reliablescientific articles in 2022.

It is set to organise the 5th Asia Conference on Business and Economic Studiesfrom August 16 to 18 this year./.

“I Love My Country” media campaign launched

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.

With a tight 13-month deadline, the move is under a strategic and urgent policy to bridge educational gaps, train the local workforce, and shore up territorial sovereignty in some of the country’s most remote areas.
