Hanoi (VNS/VNA)- HDBankwas recently selected as Asia best service and Vietnam market leader in the“Trade Finance Survey 2019” by the English-language monthly magazine Euromoney.
HDBankwas selected out of 7,000 organisations and companies from 89 national andterritories thanks to its outstanding strategy and business plans as well asstrong human resources in 2018.
HDBankis one of 200 banks that have joined ADB’s financial assistance programme since2015. Through the programme, the bank has accelerated campaigns to supportcustomers’ import-export activities, especially small- and medium-sizedenterprises (SMEs).
In its 2017-2021 plan, HDBank aims to become theleading bank in the country, targeting small- and medium-sized enterprises.
Toimprove quality and bring more services to customers, the bank is focusing ondeveloping human resources by organising training courses.
Withits strong efforts, the bank has received many awards like the “Best CashManagement in Vietnam” for five consecutive years from 2012 to 2016, and BestWorking Place and Best Cash Manager in Asia Pacific in 2018.
After30 years of operating in the Vietnamese market, HDBank has widely developed itssystem in the country with 285 banking transaction places and nearly 14,000financial transaction points. The company has also developed over 400 financialinstitutions in the world.
Lastyear, the bank earned pre-tax profits of over 4 trillion VND (175 million USD)in 2018, up by nearly 66 percent year-on-year. This is the highest level thatthe bank has ever reached.
