High-quality train to serve Hanoi-Da Nang route

The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR) has launched 30 new high-quality carriages on the Thong Nhat (North-South) route and plans to officially put them into operation on the Hanoi-Da Nang route starting July 9.

Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR)has launched 30 new high-quality carriages on the Thong Nhat (North-South)route and plans to officially put them into operation on the Hanoi-Da Nangroute starting July 9.

The carriages were built using high-quality materials andadvanced technology to ensure they are more stable, sound-proof, and fire-proof,with their waste treatment system meeting hygienic standards.  

Along with the traditional 4-bed and 6-bed cabins, each ofthe new overnight carriages now come with a couple of VIP 2-bed cabins. The VIPcabins have larger and more comfy beds, and passengers choosing this servicecan enjoy free beverages and meals.

From July 9, the new carriages will be part of the five-starSE1 and SE2 trains operating on the Hanoi-Da Nang route, said a VNRrepresentative.

To date, the VNR have built and put into use 60 carriages ofthis type. -VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
