HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City is willing to collaborate with Vientiane in socio-economics and culture to strengthen the two cities’ relations, stated Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Commit𒁏tee Le Thanh Liem.

Liem hosted a reception on September 11 for Vice Mayor of the Lao capital Keophilavanh Aphaylath, during which he said that the latter’s visit will help realise agreements signed between the two sides.
In the future, Ho Chi Minh City and Vientiane will carry out programmes in financial officer training, banking, animal husbandry and tourism.
Keophilavanh Aphaylath thanked Ho Chi Minh City for its support for Vientiane’s development. Vientiane wants to cooperate with the Vietnamese city in all fields, particularly trade and investment, for the interests of the two cities’ people and for peace and prosperity, he stated.-VNA

Running from August 4 to September 2, under the hashtag #TuHaoVietNam, the campaign invites participants in two categories: “I Love My Country” video clips and “I Love My Country” check-in photos.
