– A business delegationof the northern province of Hoa Binh has visited Melbourne city in Australia’sVictoria State to explore cooperation and investment opportunities.

The delegation, led by Nguyen Cao Son,President of the provincial Association of Enterprises, held a meeting withTran Ba Phuc, President of the Vietnamese Business Association in Australia(VBAA) in Melbourne, and over 20 members of the Vietnamese young entrepreneursclub in Australia.

During the meeting, Son said Hoa Binh-basedfirms hope to set up new relations and find new business partners in Melbourneduring the visit.

He also introduced the province’sadvantages and investment potential for Australia-based enterprises.

Son called on the VBAA to considerpartnering up with enterprises in Hoa Binh in health care, education,construction, and agricultural production, and help with the export of HoaBinh’s key products to Australia.

Representatives from VBAA briefed thedelegation on the Australian market, good demands and import taxes. They alsoshared with the guests experience in doing business in Australia.

The VBAA President appreciated thepotential, advantages and incentives offered by Hoa Binh, pledging that he willdo his utmost to promote the province’s potential in Melbourne in particular,and Australia in general.

Phuc also said he hopes more business delegationsfrom Vietnam will come to explore potential in trading agricultural productsbetween Australia and Vietnam.-VNA
