Hanoi (VNA)🔯 –An incident occurred on February 5 on the VN227 flight of the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines.
Around 40 minutes after taking off, the Airbus A350 (registered as VN-A887), carrying 137 passengers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, experienced a drop in cabin pressurisation which deployed the oxygen masks.
The pilot immediately sought permission to return to Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, and the Airbus A350 eventually landed safely.
According to a preliminary report, no passenger was hurt in the incident. A flight attendant was slightly injured and received first aid at the airport following the plane’s return.
Passengers were then boarded on another Vietnam Airlines flight and have all arrived safely in Ho Chi Minh City.
🤡 The VN-A887 has been in use since September last year, with the latest maintenance dated December 13, 2015.
Earlier on January 3, flight VN18 using an Airbus A350 aircraft from Paris to Hanoi was stranded for 48 hours due to problems in the aircraft’s left wing.-VNA
