Hanoi (VNA) - The Embassy of India in Vietnam hosted the India Fair in Hanoi on November 25, with the aim of introducing its cultural identities to local꧂ people.
The festival themed “A Festival of Unity in Diversity” is expected to tighten cultural exchanges between the Indian and Vietnamese communities.The event was held to commemorate 75th anniversary of Indian Independence Day (August 15, 1947), and 50th anni🅺ver🅠sary of Vietnam – India relations (January 1, 1972), successful India’s presidency of G-20 in 2022-2023, and the International Year of Millets 2023.
The five-hour celebration showcased diversified hues of India - energetic cultural performances, henna art, an Indian food festival and an exhibition of Indian handicrafts, garments and other products. The festival aimed to honour bilateral friendship and foster people-to-people exchange between Vietnam and India./.
